NextMedia is proud to partner with
First Ward Community Center to showcase the talent of our region: The
Great Lakes Bay Region.
From this region greatness has risen such as Stevie Wonder, born in Saginaw May 13th, 1950. A young man who remembers his humble starting in Saginaw, Michigan playing as a child at the
First Ward Community Center before moving to Detroit with his mom and family.
On Saturday, August 24th, 2013 we’re showcasing talent from all over the region spotlighting the Celebration Square sector of Saginaw. A FREE, multi-cultural, family event called Saginaw “WONDER”fest. The Saginaw “WONDER”fest will be the culmination event of Saginaw Celebrates summer and invites everyone to come and experience the many local entertainment and recreation venues plus performances featuring local talent. Hopeful that one day, some of these young performer will be able to follow in Stevie’s footsteps.
